Ingredients (Serves 4)

500g ready-to-cook chicken (thighs, drumsticks, or boneless breast pieces)
1.5 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp olive oil (or cooking spray)
For the Sauce:
4 garlic cloves, minced (or 2 tsp pre-minced garlic)
3 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp honey
Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)
1 tsp dried thyme
For Garnish:
Lemon zest
Fresh parsley or cilantro
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Prep the Chicken (5 minutes):
Pat the chicken dry with paper towels. If using boneless breasts, slice them into even 2cm-thick pieces for faster cooking.
In a bowl, mix 1.5 tsp salt, 1 tsp black pepper, and 1 tsp smoked paprika. Rub the seasoning evenly over the chicken.
2. Air Fry the Chicken (15-18 minutes):
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (390°F) for 3 minutes.
Lightly brush or spray the air fryer basket with oil to prevent sticking.
Place the chicken in the basket in a single layer (don’t overcrowd; cook in batches if needed).
Cook for 12-15 minutes (for boneless) or 15-18 minutes (for bone-in thighs/drumsticks), flipping halfway through. Check for doneness: internal temperature should reach 75°C (165°F), or juices should run clear.
3. Make the Sauce (5 minutes):
While the chicken cooks, melt 3 tbsp butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in 2 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/2 tsp chili flakes (if using), and 1 tsp dried thyme. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
4. Glaze the Chicken (2 minutes):
Transfer the cooked chicken to a bowl. Pour the sauce over it and toss gently to coat.
5. Serve:
Garnish with lemon zest and fresh herbs. Serve with rice, roasted veggies, or garlic bread!
